Artevo Corporation was incorporated on February 9, 2007, and on July 19, 2007, the Corporation completed its initial public offering and the Common Shares were listed on the Exchange with the symbol “AEV”. On October 4, 2007 Artevo entered into a Letter of Intent with Power Play Art Ltd. of Calgary Alberta to amalgamate the two companies, which will constitute the qualifying transaction of Artevo pursuant to Policy 2.4 of the TSX Venture Exchange Inc. Power Play Art Ltd. was incorporated on February 29, 2000. The company will be known as Artevo Corporation following the successful completion of the amalgamation. Artevo’s flagship gallery is located at 514 – 11th Avenue S. W., Calgary, Alberta in a recently converted historic brick warehouse in the city’s Gallery District. Artevo has one retail gallery located in downtown Toronto and one in downtown Vancouver, and is currently negotiating to add Artevo galleries in strategic locations in the United States and elsewhere in Canada. Artevo’s core business is the marketing of fine art, in both its original form and in reproduction. Original artworks are available to the company in numerous formats, and under a wide variety of terms and conditions. Artevo has secured agreements with over 160 artists whereby the company has the right to market, sell, or reproduce artworks by various processes. Artevo currently has over 4,000 fine art items listed on its www.artevo.com website, which is a fully curated interactive art resource for artists and the PPAL gallery. Artevo’s opportunity for consolidation and growth in the fine art industry is significant.
